1. Brief Introduction:
Shanxi University, founded in 1902, is one of the three earliest established national universities in China. The university has 18 schools covering philosophy, law, education, liberal arts, history, science, engineering, medical science and management, offering 69 individual undergraduate specialties, 4 post-doctoral research stations, 24 doctoral programs, and 90 Master degree programs. It has a national base of Chinese Language and Culture Education designated by the State Council. At present, Shanxi University has 10,713 undergraduate students and 2,200 graduate students.
Shanxi University has established intercollegiate relationships with 38 universities and research institutions all over the world and it has enrolled overseas students since 1981. Over 1,000 overseas students from dozens of countries and areas such as England, America, Russia, Canada, Japan, Korea, France, Italy, Romania, Syria, Brazil, Mongolia, Nigeria and Hong Kong etc. have studied in Shanxi University.

3. Qualifications Required:
1. To be in good health
2. To respect Chinese laws and school regulations
3. Those wanting to attain a Bachelor degree must have a high middle school diploma
4. Those wanting to attain a Master degree must have Bachelor degree
5. Those wanting to attain a Ph.D must have Master degree
