YuGuang Co.Ltd.(YG) was established in October, 1999 and supported by the Institute of Opto-Electronics of Shanxi University and the State Key Laboratory of Quantum and Quantum Optics Devices.

The Institute of Opto-Electronics (IOE) is engaged on the fundamentals and applications researches in the fields of quantum optics and laser technology from 1984. The State Key Laboratory of Quantum and Quantum Optics Devices, the IOE being its principal part, was established in 2002. The State Key Laboratory consists of 8 sub-labs and 3 workshops, with the former including fundamentals and applications researches of quantum optics, generation and application of nonclassical fields, quantum measurement & communication, cavity quantum electrodynamics (C-QED), interaction between atoms & light fields, Bose-Einstein condensation, laser technology & optical quantum devices and laser spectroscopy, and the latter including lasers, electronics and mechanical processing.

At the present, the main products of YG include kinds of All-solid-state lasers (single-mode and single-frequency, infrared and green, output power from 200mW to Watts), Laser driver, High precise temperature controller, High Voltage DC Amplifier, F-P interferometer, and Optical mounts etc. The research of all-solid-state lasers was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). And the National Technological Invention Prize (the 2ed level) was awarded for the All-solid-state single-mode and single-frequency green laser in 2002. There are two patents of China in our all-solid-state laser products. Our products have been sold to universities and institutions in America, Germany, Japan and China.
