¡¡¡¡The
School of Economics was founded in 1934, which was then acquired
to China People¡¯s University in the national college and department
adjustment program in 1952. This present department was reestablished
in 1980 from the former Department of Political Science and then
and then expanded as the acquisition of the accounting major from
the Department of Mathematics.
¡¡¡¡The School
of Economics offers a doctoral study program in History of Economics;
4 master¡¯s study programs in Business Administration (MBA), History
of Economics and Econometrics; and 4 undergraduate study programs
of Economics; International Economics and Trade; Business Administration;
and Accounting. It has 61 faculty and staff, including 5 full
professors and 17 associate professors. Twelve faculty members
are with doctoral degrees. One professor is eligible to advise
Ph.D. students and 15 faculty members have the qualification to
advise graduate students toward master¡¯s degree. In addition
a group of academically renowned scholars in the field of economics
are the afflicted professors in the department. |
